Titans, Kendall Wright on verge of deal

The Titans are on the verge of signing first round pick Kendall Wright and a deal could be completed as early as today, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Wright, the 20th overall pick of the NFL Draft, has missed the first three days of training camp as his agent and the Titans struggled to work through his contract.

Significant progress has been made in the last 24 hours, however, and a deal is now close to being finalized.

Wright is expected to sign a four-year deal worth more than $8.2 million.
