Wyatt's an idiot. I can't see how he still has his job. Wouldn't read into anything he says.

Long-time beat writer Darin Gantt is skeptical that the Panthers will pull the trigger on a trade for Brandon Lloyd.
As a 30-year-old, 10-week rental, Lloyd makes much more sense for a contender than the 1-4 Panthers. GM Marty Hurney does have a bad habit of sacrificing draft picks in trades, but Gantt suggests moving Brandon LaFell into the starting lineup would solve any need the Panthers have opposite Steve Smith.

    Interesting..

I would not give a 2nd, or a 3rd for Brandon. I'd be more than happy in trading a 4th.

Here's the thing, he'll be a FA after this year. So more than likely he'll come to the Titans for the rest of the season, then sign for more money somewhere else. Then we'll no longer have that draft pick. So it leaves the questions: Draft Pick or Lloyd for 10 weeks?

He may be worth it. We have a serious shot at the AFC South Title. Peytons hurt, Texans best two players are hurt, Jags suck, and the Titans... well we could. If CJ gets it going, and we add another target for Hass, we could make a move.

    It's a tough call.

Some of you that act like these draft picks are gold... take a look at how we use our 2nd and 3rd round picks.

We can win this division and anything can happen in the playoffs. As unthinkable as that was a few months ago, it's true. Lloyd would make a difference on this team, look at the other WRs on the roster.
