Titans Hire Mike Sullivan as Assistant Offensive Line Coach

Every coach in every sport at every level hires guys they have worked with or have experience with from the past, call it the buddy system or whatever you want, everyone does it. Why would you hire someone you're not comfortable or don't mesh with?

The difference is Munchak was hiring guys that were completely unqualified, probably because he himself wasn't qualified to be a head coach.

 

I am not even sure we are building such an awesome staff, as much as how we are used to the old one......

 

Exactly. Munch was completely unqualified and we saw that trickle down throughout the rest of the staff.

And while Whis does seen to be hiring guys he's familiar with, at least you can't say they're not qualified. Aside from perhaps Michael. But we all know he's an OC in name only. Whis needed a yes man for that position and that's what he got.

haha I've thought this too, a little of both. Horton was a huge hire imo and we've added a couple other good guys, the rest are decent hires but compared to our last staff then they're great hires.

We hired a DL guy and kept Kaczor.
