Yes it's bleacher report but the references within the subarcticle are solid.

I don't see any way Mularkey kept.

 

And hire who? To me that's a huge gamble, that's why this whole situation is stupid on the part of the Titans FO. So Mularky sucks and gets fired on his 1 year deal, we don't know who would be available coach wise then. This was the year to get a coach that had credibility, there was plenty of options.

 

Someone not named Mike Mularkey, ideally.

We all know how this is going to go down. We're going to suck the next two years. Mularkey is going to get fired after year two. We're right back where we are now, except Mariota is three years older and probably a lot more beat up.

 

The problem with this article is that it states Robinson is conducting interviews. Apparently he is not on the hiring committee and according to Wyatt, a Titans employee, the owners are choosing the coach.

 

3 years older and heaven knows how many injuries later...

No it doesn't. It says Robinson will "take a hard look" at McDaniels. And I'm certain he's on the committee now he's the GM.

I'll believe Mularkey is their first choice when he's announced as HC. Too many people worked up over speculation right now.

 

What's the point of a one year deal? Either you like him out not. He's been on our staff from before and know what he's got
