If we draft a receiver there is a good chance Hawkins and Williams might get cut because then the depth looks like this......

    Nate
    Britt
    Wright
    Walter
    New Receiver

Nate has been are most reliable receiver for some time now. I would hate to see him go.

Don't sleep on Preston either. He has really impressed me in his limited playing time.

I agree and he has good size. He could be Britts replacement in 2 years if we tag Britt after this year.

They need to give Preston some extra playing time this preseason and if they think he is suitable they could keep him and let both Hawkins and Williams go.

    No plans?

    Make plans.

I really do like Nate. He is a good reciever. He is also the 4th (if not 5th) best reciever on this team. Not to mention we have a tight end that can fill his role.

I think we could get solid value for him. More then we would get if he was here next season.

Guess it depends on if you think Britt will make it, which I think he will.

Eh I don't see it. Talent wise may be he is 4th best. Production wise I'd say he is probably our 2nd or 3rd best receiver.
