I totally think there is a lot of assumptions going on here. Jake has entered the last two seasons healthy. Staying that way has been the issue.

He's having to learn his third offense in as many seasons — I don't think that helps any QB. I think it'll take time for him to become comfortable in a new offense.

Though many fans here think Whiz is a major upgrade, I think we need to see how things play out. Whiz and Co have a pretty unimpressive record the last three seasons. Whiz has been pretty average with an average QB (as are most NFL coaches).

I'm not sold on the talent surrounding Jake being that much better either. Wright is a playmaker but we have a changing OL which was very suspect last season, new RB and little depth at WR. Hunter shows potential but I want to see much more production on game day.

I'm all for optimism but, bottom line, Jake playing well is the only thing that will lead to a successful season and, on the most part, it's mostly about him.

I think lewan and sankey will be bigger help factors than most expect. Bishop can actually catch.

Jake has a couple big things going for him this year over last year. RB is proba ly the biggest. Now I am not talming run game. He has recievers who can catch. Do not underestimate how big that can be for a QB. Having a good guy to dump the ball off to when things go bad.

The second is not having Kenny Britt around. Every time Britt was on the field the Titans might as well have been playing with 10 guys. I understand that Britt was eventually benched. But that did not happen until later when Jake was hurt.

Even if Whiz and the boys are average offensive coaches it is a giant improvement over what Jake had before.

Having dexter as a tweener in the lineup should take some pressure off too. Lets just hope this is the year and the process doesnt start over next year.

Never give him a pass... even though he wants you to respond to his ridiculous posts. And I always fall for it.

Not if he doesn't stay on the field. The previous coaching staff would likely still be the coaching staff if he could have.
