Kirkpatrick "dropping." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/25/dre-kirkpatrick-dropping-on-draft-boards/ Teams just don't covet zone corners in the first round. Been saying for a couple of months. He'll probably still go late in the first because he's pretty talented, but teams can grab a zone corner in the middle rounds.
Scared to death we're going CB in the 1st. Unless it's Claiborne (which is NOT going to happen) I won't be happy with the pick. QB pressure makes the secondary look better. Get a good pass rushing DE or DT and we won't have to waste a 1st rounder on a CB.
I like Brockers too. We were AWFUL at stopping the run up the middle last year (teams averaged 4.5 yards per carry up the middle on us) and Brockers excels at stopping the run. He reminds me a little bit of Haynesworth (without the laziness and baggage) coming out. He's a little raw and needs to hit the weights (only 18 reps at the combine) but has ENORMOUS potential and upside.
