Titans G Levitre having hip surgery

    Titans guard Andy Levitre is having surgery on a hip that bothered him during the 2013 season. I’ve been told the procedure is a “minor clean-up.”

    Levitre, who signed a $46.8 million contract with the Titans last offseason after four seasons with the Bills, also battled knee problems during the season after having arthroscopic surgery last offseason.

    Levitre started all 16 games at left guard.

    It would be interesting to know how much impact this had on his play this season. Let's hope this gets him back to form for 2014.

    We heard from Wyatt that is was a big problem this year, he couldn't sustain blocks for that long or have a lot of forward push.

    God I hope so. But just our luck. Dude goes his whole career without a serious injury steps foot in Tennessee and has knee surgery, then has hip surgery. Good thing people think luck doesn't matter or isn't real cause ours sure sucks ass.

    I'm sure this was the cause to a lot of his play, I know how a guard is and the hips are needed to constant moving and pushing

    A hip you say? I was sure it was a labial tear. Either way I guess this explains why he was such a pushover. Hopefully he comes in next year and gives us the pro bowl Levitre.

    Everyone else is super optimistic about this. "Oh! That's why he sucked!"

    I'm thinking "Great... yet another reason he will continue to suck."

    Let's face the music on this one. Levitre robbed us. Bills knew it. Levitre knew it.
