    Point was- you had to stop the offense about the exact same whether they were at the 50 (onside kick) or on the 20... either way if they got 2 first downs the game was over.

    My point, that responsibility falls on the defense to stop them. I agree with the coaches on this one. Too early to onside kick it only down by 6

    Because they didn't execute the game plan. 3 minutes and some odd seconds is plenty of time for your D to stop them and have a last minutes drive for offense

    ^You can't blame the players for executing when they hadn't done it all game.

    That's why it's on the coaches.

    Coaches aren't always right just because they're coaches. Erase that from your mind.

    When did I ever say the coaches are always right? I believe the coaches are wrong about many things. I just don't believe they were wrong on this play. JMO
