Titans-Falcons game a sellout

LOL. this sentence right here proves how much BS the "sell outs" in pro sports are.

 

By definition, a sellout only means every ticket was sold, doesn't mean theres really 67,000 people there.

 

Actually that's not true. Does not mean all are sold. Many are still available at box office, and many are giveaways to sponsors. The preds also use this phony logic to create sellouts, while handing out thousands of free and deeply discounted seats all season. It's a joke, to be honest. It's a giveout more than a sellout. I love the predators, and real fans know that their pride in their sellout games was a false front. Many are just handed to Nissan employees who don't even show up. They not only give away the ticket, but get no concession/merchandise sales from them.

Sellout means to have a certain percentage accounted for. And that is pretty ridiculous. A sellout should mean that it is SOLD OUT. But it doesn't, in today's world. It's all about deception to save face, while attendance and fan pride is wavering.

 

I suppose youre right, a sellout isn't necessarily a sellout by definition, but in the sports world we sell out.

 

At least we don't have to cover the stadium in tarps to achieve a sellout

 

Honestly, I've been to like 5 games and prefer to watch it from home.

Pro games atleast. College is different just because of the atmosphere.

Exactly. The Titans do very little to make the in-game experience fun.. a boring game experience makes for boring fans. The atmosphere at most titans games is a friendly atmosphere, but not a fun, wild, or exciting atmosphere.

 

well you cant stand up and cheer or else RGs stormtroopers come and escort you out.

 

I stand and cheer pretty much the whole game when I go, and no one says anything ... of course maybe they don't care as much in the nose bleeds haha
