The Titans haven’t been good at converting third-down opportunities over the last two games (eight-for-26) and they’ll get a significant challenge in that department on Monday. The New York Jets have allowed opponents to convert just two of their last 31 third-down opportunities. “They’re aggressive more on third downs,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said. “If you get behind, then you’re in trouble. It seems like they will start digging deep into the blitzing playbook and come after you maybe more than other teams would on third downs or passing downs or situations where you have to get into a two-minute type offense.” The Jets have only allowed a combined 16 points in back-to-back wins over Jacksonville and Arizona. “They’re going to do some unconventional things, take some chances to maybe put pressure on your quarterback,” Munchak said. “We understand that. We’ve got a young quarterback and teams have to decide whether they want to confuse him and get after him or make him read coverage. I’m sure they’ll do a little of both.” Share on Facebook Posted In: Team News Source: Titans Insider
Munch has zero input to the defensive side of the ball. That's not good. He has no clue what he is doing. I doubt he has much imput on the offensive side either. This team rides or dies by JG and DL. That's concerning.
