Titans Establishing An Identity And Blueprint For Future

I honestly think jrob was thinking "all we have to do is win 6 this year" when putting together our 16' roster. He knew the positions that needed improvement, but it was to much for one offseason. So he allowed certain groups to continue sucking and only went for that 6 win goal. Instead we won 9, even with those position groups playing badly. The future is very bright here.

Hes also always got one eye on next years talent coming out, so he knows the landscape better than most of us do, there was simply no way he could fill all the holes we had in one offseason. As is we already saw 50% roster turnover, cant wait to see him finish what he started last year. Year-2 should be the year were 6 wins isnt considered anything close to a success.

 

That's exactly what he did. They were pretty straightforward with their plan from the outset. Upgrade the interior and running game. Cliche but true, if you can run the ball and stop the run, you can win games in the league.

No doubt they exceeded even their own expectations this year. We've still got a lot to do to build the consistent winner we all want, but for the first time in years the franchise is clearly moving in a positive direction.
