    Normally I would be all in favor of locking up a player like Casey a year before he hits FA, but it worries me slightly that we haven't even seen him in a 3-4 and he doesn't look like a great fit on the surface.

    Exactly what I was going to post. But I guess I'd rather us lock him up and find out he's not a good fit then watch him blow up next year and leave in FA. At least he'd have trade value if the former turns out to be the case.
