Titans ease Kendall Wright into first practice

Titans rookie receiver Kendall Wright took part on Thursday night’s practice, but on a limited basis.

Outfitted in a red non-contact jersey, Wright ran routes during 7 on 7 drills. But quarterbacks didn’t throw the football his way, and defenders were careful not to run into him.

Afterward, Coach Mike Munchak said the Titans are letting Wright get his feet under him.

“We are just being careful with him,’’ Munchak said. “We just want him running routes, and we did about as much as we can do with him until Saturday.”
