Titans deserve better props than what the media gives us.

    I watched the wrap-up show on Fox and the Titans were not among the highlights. I went over to the NBC pre-game show and it was the same deal.

    A Stooler beatdown might get some attention.

    Well, we are getting a lot better, I am very comfortable with the wins. I see a lot of the style offense we had with Warren Moon, and the old Run and Shoot. Hass has really settled in and is doing well. I feel if we can beat Pittsburgh, we will begin to get some attention. The defense is doing an awesome job. I just wonder how we would fair against the "Cheeseheads" or the "Pats." We would seriously need CJ to be back on track and in full swing.

    When we beat the Clowns yesterday to become 3-1, I turned to my wife and said that we will still get no respect from the media this whole week... and it's already off to the typical start. I turn on M&M this morning and the Titans barely got a mention in passing NFL news and notes. I watched First Take this morning and it's the same ol' monotinous Cowboys and Tony Romo crap taking up over half the show, the rest is devoted to the Eagles and Tom Brady. Not a mention of the Titans at all... it drives me nuts. With the way we are playing I would dare say put any team in front of us right now and we can beat them, even Green Bay. I'm tired of ESPN showing the Ratbirds all this respect when we have the same record and we whupped their *sses. The so called analysts can throw out all the stats and meaningless football jargon they want, there is no reason we shouldn't be a top 5 team right now, especially in the AFC. A Pittsburgh win next week coupled with a win at home over Houston after the bye should surely jumpstart the talk... if not, then I'm super pissed!

    Most of the media will have thought yesterdays game to be two less than stellar teams facing off and the winner not having much input in their division for the remainder of the season.

    Even a win against the Steelers will probably not get the Titans the respect they now deserve.

    This is how it always is. And even if we beat the Steelers, we won't get attention. They'll say "Well the Titans went into Pissburgh today and were able to come away with a win against the banged up Steelers. Probably would've been different had the Steelers been healthy."

    The Titans "deserve" nothing. All they are going to get is what the rip from the cold dead grasp of the opposition. The Titans could win the AFC and be twenty point dogs in the Super Bowl. Get used to it. I happen to like it that way.
