Titans DE Jason Jones out for year

    Titans defensive tackle Jason Jones will have season-ending shoulder surgery today, Coach Jeff Fisher said. Jones, a second-round draft pick in 2008, has missed five games with the injury this season. He is expected to be placed on injured reserve sometime soon.[​IMG]

    that sucks. i wanted to see him play beside tony. not to mension he could be our best DT... (especially in terms of rushing the passer something we need; tony/kvb handle the run good.

    im just happy it has nothing to do with his knees....i think he can come back strong.

    We'll be alright without him for now. I honestly hadn't even noticed he was gone after the 1st game he had missed. Maybe he uses this as motivation towards next season.

    4 sacks in seven games is pretty good for a DT. Too bad he can't stay on the field or he could be a dominant player. He also batted down 5 balls.
