He got his 30 million, he doesn't care. And in 6 years he will be broke, then who will care.

WHY would he be broke after receiving $18,600,000.00 over the next few months? Realistically thats all his signing bonus was worth. You, me, and most Americans would be set for life with that kind of cash. Chris Johnson aint nobody special, why can't he make over $18M work for him over the next 70 years?

Your statement is ignorant at best..

Because he'll probably sink all of it in his crappy record label that will see minimum returns?

That would be my first guess. My other guess would be a quote from Patrick Ewing:
"Sure NBA players make a lot of money, but we spend a lot too."

    Just replace NBA with NFL.

Regardless, I doubt the Titans cut CJ after this season. They'll likely hold on to him until the end of next season and then evaluate where he is.

Which car? The Bentley? Or the old school ride that probably cost less than 70k all together?

Plenty of athletes go bankrupt because they spend like fools. Sure me or you could EASILY live off $18M. But "stars" spend like crazy... and I'm guessing CJ is the same.

Famous athletes who have filed bankruptcy:
    Scottie Pippen (was worth $120Mil)
    Lawerence Taylor (was worth $50Mil)
    Deuce McAllister (was worth $20Mil)
    Evander Holyfield (was worth $250Mil)
    Mike Tyson (was worth $300+Mil)
    Latrell Spreewell (was worth $50Mil)

I know this a stereotype, but CJ could easily blow $18Mil.
