If Locker has a breakout year, like top 15 QB stuff, they will franchise his ass if they have to in order to work out a deal.

If Locker is in the 25-30 range they will let him walk.

That 16-25 range is where you get him to sign for cheap.

We would franchise him before he has the chance to get plane tickets.

Well, considering how everyone views him, it wouldn't surprise me. I suppose we must think that the Titans are so worthy, they should have a Manning or a Brady for a QB. We're lucky to have him. Look at the backups we have. And they were hand picked by the new Big Cheese.

I wouldn't say we are fortunate to have him. It could be worse but it could be a hell of a lot better too.

He really hasn't done anything worthy of such praise yet.

The Locker hype train has yet to leave the station.

When it does I'll be riding. I have a ticket.

Yeah. The whole "(shrug) could be worse" thing is such the stereotypical Titan fan response.

Lucky to have him? Ummm no. Not sure what's so "lucky" about him. The guy goes down and handicaps our entire season every single year. Whoohoo... lucky us.

    I know right.

There was someone who called out people here one time for being so hard on the team about our constant mediocrity by saying "we should feel blessed to just have a NFL team here in Tennessee.".

Who the **** thinks like that?

    Nashville sports fans that's who.

It's a freaking epidemic I swear. We have got to be damn near the softest fans/market in the whole country. And it's exactly what you said. Too many of the ~30+ crowd who remember the days when this area did not have professional sports are just so "grateful" and "blessed" to have sports teams that they take it easy on them. I don't get it. Are they scared they're going to hurt their feelings and the team will move away or something?

I mean I'm grateful we have pro sports teams now as well. But that doesn't mean I'm just gonna be all "aw shucks... maybe next year fellas" every time the team is god awful and an embarrassment to the city.
