hard to run when your qb can't throw 5 yards down the field. Kind of shortens the field for the defense..

He doesn't have a younger backup who has looked very good
He didn't have one of the best 3 year starts in nfl history in the previous 3 years
He wasn't visibly hurt.

I didn't agree with letting CJ play when he wasn't in shape but that was completely different.
