Titans claim Tyler Patmon off waivers

A second-year UDFA, Patmon spent a lot of time in the slot this season, but was routinely burned. The Dallas Morning News reports Patmon was cut loose because he wasn't physical enough. The Cowboys want to evaluate some other players down the stretch of a lost year.


Sounds awesome! I hope we don't just use the #1 waiver claim on scrubs that won't make the roster.

I have a feeling Cox & McCain will have awful seasons, and McCourty just an average season. No other CB even worth mentioning. BW Webb is awful. Riggs & Blake are #4/5 CBs. Hopefully we get lucky with Reed or Sims but it won't be this season

 

It's training camp and they had an open roster spot. If someone better comes along they will cut him and sign the next one. Not a big deal.

 

You have far too much faith in this coaching staff.

 

It's what every team does at this time. They need guys for camp...if you somehow find someone that works for your team, cool...if not, they will be cut when the roster is trimmed.

Every player in the NFL isn't a superstar and no team is stacked with superstars so much so that they don't bring other players in. It should be no surprise when a team with a roster spot open fills it. Scrub or not it doesn't really matter at this point.
