Titans center suffers disastrous double

    HOUSTON Titans center Rob Turner had a pair of penalties during one series.

    He was whistled for a peel-back block on first down, which moved the ball from the Tennessee 12 back to the 6. On the next play, Turner was called for holding, which put the Titans back at their own 3.

    “The first was just a bad decision on my part,” Turner said. “It was a screen and I went to cut (Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt). It was just a split-second decision and I made the wrong one. The (second call) was one of those deals that could have gone either way.”

    The Titans moved all the way back to the 1 thanks to a delay of game penalty on the next play then suffered a safety when Chris Johnson was tackled in the end zone.

    “I contributed to putting us in that situation, absolutely,” Turner said.

    Dare I say we would be 2-0 if we kept Velasco?

    In hindsight, it would be nice to have Velasco and Schwenke instead of this bum.

    This is like Ghosts of Amano's Past.

    Velasco was so bad in the preseason though. I'm sure he would have screwed us in his own special way.
