The Texans offence is one of the hottest in the league but they're still having problems stopping people consistently.

If they can protect the football better they could give any team trouble right now.It will be a very tough test for us.

I think Houston will play very hard for first half maybe even three quarters but I am hoping that the Titans will wear them down in the end.
Obviously time of possession will be a key factor in this game.

This will be an interesting statement game for both teams to refer to at the start of next year. We'll see a hard effort from both teams. Another good opportunity for our guys to prove that they don't take days off.

The Titans run D is playing better now than it has all year. They have only given up 58 yards rushing in the past two weeks combined.

True, both teams rank in the bottom 10 in rushing offense. But, they have both run the ball much better in the past few weeks before they played the Titans:

Cleveland had games of 161 (Buf), 95 (Hou) and 101 (Ind). I know those aren't incredible stats, but they were averaging 119 yards a game. That would be good for 10th best in the league.

Detroit had games of 103 (Jac), 130 (Car) and 108 (TB). That is an average of 113.7 yards a game. That would be good for middle of the pack.

The Titans held them to 23 (Detroit) and 35 (Cleveland). Even considering the competition, that is still very impressive.
    1 people high five this.

Slaton is the key. If we can stop the run consistently, and get pressure with a 4 man line, Schaub is not going to make it 4 quarters. I really wanna see something happen with our Offense, get off to a better start, get some guys involved early and get a good rhythm. KMFC had a good game last time he was in Houston, hopefully, he can get the same rythm with the WRs.
