Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky NASHVILLE, TENN. -- When it comes to winning with sub-200 yard passing days, the Titans are on the verge of history.

Forty-two times this season an NFL quarterback has thrown for 300 yards or more. But Kerry Collins, who runs the offense of the league's only undefeated team, has maxed out at 199 yards, in a Week 4 win against Minnesota.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Titans have won eighth straight games with fewer than 200 passing yards in each. Only one other team since 1935 won its first eight games in a season without reaching the 200-passing yard mark in any of them: the 1973 Vikings won 9 straight with fewer than 200 passing yards.

Can the Titans equal that record with a less-than-200-yard passing day in Chicago? Well, it's supposed to be wet and cold at Soldier Field, which suggests it won't be difficult for them. But the Bears have given up less than 237 passing yards only twice in eight games.
