Titans Bring Back Offensive Lineman Otto

Great news! He's a very solid backup I would have hated to lose him.

Good insurance behind Roos and Stewart, but things will be better for the Titans if Otto never actually has to play.

 

CJ did have his best games with Otto starting. Probably just a coincidence since the Bucs and Bills run defenses are garbage.

 

Remember when we thought Leroy Harris was a stud after he had a few good games back in 2009?

 

No, I don't.

The one time I ever gave him credit was when he filled in for Mawae against the Ravens... which is why I'm shocked he doesn't play C.

I don't think Otto is a stud. But he's solid depth. He played very well filling in for Stewart.

 

As bad as our line was this last season, i'll take any kind of depth at the moment. Its definitely not a bad thing to keep him around

Is what I'd say if we didn't have so many holes to fill. It's a good signing. Otto's decent enough to play in a pinch and is that first or second guy to come in off the bench. It's surely a contract that can be easily upgraded if warranted.

We always need that Jason Mathews/ Tom Ackerman sort of backup lineman. And Ackerman later brought our attention to Roos. So props to Otto. I think it's deserved after 5 years.

 

Keeping Otto was a good decision, puts us 1 guy closer to filling the 53 man roster. Now just 19 holes to fill.
