Titans Are Done for This Year...

I recently read that football fans in Memphis hate the Titans. I don't necessarily buy that (I'm originally from Memphis after all), but it made some sense since the Titans teased Memphis with an NFL team.

 

Football fans in Memphis like Ole Miss, Arkansas, or another team outside the Titans.

I lived there for 2 years and Memphis natives do everything they can to distance themselves from TN.

 

Many Memphians do hate the titans however, that's the beauty of the NFL draft. You don't choose who you want to play for. Unless you're that little bi**h Eli or that horse faced ******* John Elway

Titans aren't totally done. They can still do some things.

Here's how clustered the AFC picture is.

Titans are 3-5, #12 seed in AFC.

Titans over Bears
Chiefs over Bolts
Bucs over Raiders
Giants over Steelers
Dolphins and Colts, someone has to lose.

Phins/Colts(4-4)
Steelers(4-4)
Titans (4-5)
Bolts(3-5)
Raiders(3-5)

Suddenly, after only 1 week, Titans are tied for #8 seed in AFC. We hold the tie-breaker over the Steelers, we will get a chance to get the head-to-head tie-breaker over Phins, and we will get another shot at Colts. A chance to control our own tie-breaker over all 3 of the teams between us and the Wild Card.

 

Even before this loss I will still takling about the draft. We our playing for a good draft pick now which is a good thing because there are some good O lineman in this years draft.

 

I can give you $50 million reasons why we would need a new one...lol! Unless the old "play maker" returns again soon, I wouldn't have a problem grabbing a solid back in the draft, preferably a guy who can consistently pound out the tough yards.

If CJ continues to be productive but doesn't return to his "play maker" form then at the least he needs to renegotiate his contract and we need to pick up a bruiser back to complement him with.
