Titans agree to terms with LB Wesley Woodyard

Go watch his tape from 2012. Your mind should be changed. He had a solid season last year too.

he's not an awesome lb but he does upgrade our current situation. Also I think we almost have to overpay guys at this point, if guys are choosing oakland over us it says something. If its what we gotta do to improve our roster, then we have no choice. I like the signing.

Guys aren't choosing Oakland over us for football reasons. It's all about the $'s and OAK has plenty to spare. Even with all their signings their roster is still wack.

 

Good in pass coverage, iffy against the run. In the grand scheme, we have a lot of interesting pieces which means we'll have our fair share of looks on defense. He's not a great LB but it is a good signing, if we can pair him with Spikes then this would be a really nice pair.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we offered a contract to anyone who has signed with Oakland.

 

When a player visits a team the team will almost lock them in until a deal is done, Oakland got the jump on us with a couple guys. Personally, wasn't that bad when you look at the contracts they've been giving out.

We should get Oher today.

 

Certainly not my top choice at ILB but not a terrible one either. Would still like to draft someone young to develop at that position, but at least now we can wait till next year's draft if no one we like falls into our lap this year.
