Titans agree to terms with CB Antwon Blake

I agree. Most teams have one crap starting OL but still... He is a mediocre (at best) stop gap option at RT.

I guess it's always possible to move forward with Bell, take Ramsey and then a OT at #33 to compete with Bell for the starting RT spot.

I still don't care for Lewan much, which makes Tunsil more appealing to me, in that sense. All that said, I'd still take Ramsey, but I'd be extremely worried about getting Mariota murdered.

 

Mathews won't start per se, but he should be heavily involved (or start in a 3WR set).

Spence might fight for the starting spot too.

 

Disagree entirely. Mathews will start opposite DGB with Kendal in the slot.

 

In a 3WR set sure, but I think in 2WR packages it will be DGB and Wright.

 

I agree that a team can live with 1 Byron Bell, but not at OT. You can live with 1 Byron Bell, but at OG. A team can not live with a Byron Bell at RT lol.

 

As for Antwon Blake.. Good depth signing. Better than BWW or Sensabaugh, and he fits the system, so there's that. Everything they've done has been about "fits". Murray fits what Mularkey wants to do on offense; Brice McCain, Sean Spence & Antwon Blake have all played for LeBeau.

Blake was bad last year, but he was miscast as an outside CB. He's a slot guy all the way, and as of today, he can compete for snaps there with Brice McCain.

I still expect to add a CB via the draft. First 3 rounds.

 

I may be wrong but i heard Blake played with a broken hand and a banged up shoulder last year. If so, may be better than we think. plus tough players are good for TEAM.;-))
