The Titans are adding defensive end Thaddeus Gibson, a fourth round pick by the Steelers in 2010, to the team’s practice squad.

Gibson worked out for the Titans last Friday, along with former Vanderbilt defensive end Tim Fugger.

Gibson played in 2011 with the Bears, and he was also with the 49ers in 2010. He played his college ball at Ohio State.

The life of an average guy playing in the NFL, bounce around to 4 teams in 3 years. Not a big signing.

    Edit:
I went back and checked him out, is this correct - is that below his current playing size/weight?

Not sure if I want another small and in Gibson's case undersized DE. Not like he'll see any playing time, but still I'd rather they get someone a bit bigger.

Do you guys know of any good & consistent DE's who are similar size to these two (KW and Gibson)?

Another tiny edge rusher who doesn't fit the 4-3. Brilliant.

How desperate are we that we would call upon such lost creatures to defend us?

He bought a $40k car for $13k while in college. Maybe he can use those negotiation skills to get us to switch to 3-4.

I always thought he was good on madden atleast...he's played on 2 of the best defenses in the NFL...maybe he just couldn't find the field because of all the talent he was behind?!? #trying to be optimistic..
