Titans add Tyler Wilson

Tyler Wilson sounds like the good looking, starting QB of a high school football movie.

 

I don't think he had any talent around him.....

he was there after McFadden and they had no real receiving threats to speak off. I also believe his stock dropped due to the head coach falling off his scooter with that chick. He was in a bad situation.

 

Sure he did. Kniles Davis is going to be a good running back in the NFL. Jarius Wright is playing well for the Vikings. Greg Childs was a good receiver before his knee exploded.

He had a bad situation his senior year with petrino, but he also had a lot of bad tape. Watch some of his cut ups on YouTube. He doesn't have any arm strength. The ball just dies mid-air. The raiders found that out the hard way.

 

He works the intermediate level just fine those. That's where elite QBs eat in the nfl.

But yes. Dudes small, doesn't have a cannon. Played some raunchy senior year football. Can't read defenses.

 

I'm just saying he didn't have any world beating talent. I am neutral to the signing, we don't really have anything to lose. Who knows, he could turn out to be a better/cheaper back up than what we have.

 

Who can read the minds of FO? I suppose they are not going to return Rusty and just took the kid for a long shot backup. Like someone said, they can cut him next year if he doesn't pan out.

@terrymc13 Tyler Wilson's deal with #Titans is for three years, meaning he is locked up through 2015 season.

 

Just means he's our third string guy for three years. Smith and Skelton are gone.
