This is who I would resign. A lot of them for special team purposes, 3rd down purposes, stamina purposes, etc.

Restricted Free Agents:

TE Casey Cramer

OC Eugene Amano

OL Jacob Bell

DT Randy Starks

LB Robert Reynolds

 

DB, Wade and RSmith are quality depth/starters. If they accept that level of play they should remain IMHO. Cramer and Amano are good ST guys who probably will not garner big restricted contract offers IMHO. Bell and Starks could possibly be locked up long term depending on if either of them has kicked FRs dog.

I understand the ST case could be made for Nickey, but I still do not understand why he has kept making the team anyways so I want his slot available for somebody better. CB and Long have Schifnoitis and must go. I hope Sirmon put back some of that 2.3m he stole, I mean accepted, from the Titans in 2006. Did Hartsock show enough to get another contract I don't think so, not with Troupe and Scaife and Kinney? comming back next year. Reynolds better say his goodbyes sunday IMHO.

 

What about Tony Brown? Have we already extended him? :grrhee:

 

The four biggest needs to our team out of those people are imo...

After that, it is just for depth, and familiairty with our system. The Good news is that nobody is holding us hostage this year. We could theoretically let everyone go and lose no production.

 

Don't forget Amato. He's a great deep snapper. Probably the most underrated position in the league.
