Collins had a great defense and running game, and yet he still couldn't get the job done..at home.

 

Collins wasn't the reason we lost. Cutler would fair no better if the offense keeps fumbling it away.

 

I thought you guys said it's the qb's job to lead his team to a win no matter what kind of defense or running game he has. I mean don't get me wrong I like having Kerry "game manager" Collins, but Cutler is an up and coming NFL qb that is also way more mobile than Collins.

 

If Alge wouldn't have fumbled, (i'm not entirely sure what the score would end up being???) but we would have sealed the deal.

 

I also said that in an offense such as ours Cutler will be asked to do the same things as Collins does, therefore he ain't worth it.

 

Cutler would be able to do it as well as improve as a qb over the next like 10-15 years or however long he plays. Collins only has a few years left at the most..then what?

 

The inevitable Vince Young era...

 

Can't improve as a QB when all you are asked to do is don't make mistakes.
