Time to see our young CBs

Yup, unless your name is Justin Hunter...

 

I was always skeptical of Hunter but had high hopes he would surprise. He's back for cheap next year so we'll see what he can do one last time..

 

I always thought he was too frail and was terrible at tracking the ball. I hoped that Coach Jefferson's tough approach would get him past being eaten up at the line, and it really didn't seem to be that much of a problem.

I am definitely disappointed in Hunter, and god I still hate the way every player was used and performed under Whiz.

I wish we'd see what he could do to finish this year, but the injury. I guess next training camp will be his last shot.

If he's smart, while he's off bc of the broken fibula, he eats and eats and lifts his ass off. He may be able to put on a solid 10-15 more pounds, that his frame can easily accommodate. And he shouldn't lose his speed because no ligament damage and he's still fast twitch.

 

I did prefer him to Patterson tho, so he had a little something going in his favor.. But yea his frame is limiting him, he and Sensabaugh are just too light to hang, McCluster too, cut them all

 

The Tennessee homerism way overvalued both of those chumps.

I'm ok with keeping Hunter around especially since he's on his rookie deal, and we could be worse off for sure.....like having Rico Richardson or Andrew Turzili on the 53.

I don't hate Sensabaugh nearly as much as you guys, I know he isn't a starter and can be realistic about his play. Some of you think he should be Darrelle Revis

McCluster is a nice third down back for this offense, but Whiz tried to use him as an every down power back....smh

 

Revis? No, but id take a 30-year old Nick Harper from him tho...

 

Has Coty given up any TDs or huge plays the last 3 weeks?

the less I remember of him the happier I seem to feel the next day

 

I don't remember him beaten for TDs the last 3 weeks.

But then I just read the PFF grades for the Jags that said he and Cox gave up 12 catches for 134 yds and 5 TDs....holy crap

 

yea see, he's not making progress
