Well officially Griff is FS and Landry is SS. But both are "safties", Landry plays as the ball-hawk coverage safety like a FS, but also assists the run like a SS.

I watch a ton of Redskins games (my moms originally from VA, just outside DC) so they're normally on the TV every sunday. My whole family is a Redskins family, besides me.

Doesn't matter though, Snyder will make him the highest paid S i'm sure. Then again, we made Chris Hope one of the highest paid safeties.

The Titans are averaging less sacks per game now than last season. Gray has Finnegan in a scheme which suits his style of play. He's admitted as much.

I'll take your word for it, anytime I turn on a Redskins game I fall asleep within 5 minutes. I'd rather watch golf (and that's saying something for me)

    Winning cures everything.

I've always liked Finnegan, but when a millionaire talks dollars, every regular person making $30k/yr takes offense. All NFL contracts are public information, but discussions shouldn't be. That's where he slipped up this past summer.

But as far as retaining him, we absolutely should. You can never have enough corners, been saying that since day-1 of joining this forum. He's also only 27, and was drafted by this team, I'd imagine they'd want him to stay if possible.

As a fan, I'm really hoping he stays. Finnegan is one of the few Titans the rest of NFL fans like to watch.

I'll suggest he's worth 5yr/$50M (including signing bonus)
Johnathan Joseph of the Texans (a guy many here wanted) signed a five-year, $48.75M last summer. Finnegan is definitely better.

We're dialing up more blitzes this season though. And he's not playing where he's uncomfortable now.

I think the second part of that is the key. Gray is playing to his strengths. I think you can point the finger at Cecil for some of the issues of the entire secondary the last two seasons.
