Time to not let Chow call plays

    Wow, RT, you've totally convinced me! We shouldn't be trying to run the ball! Clearly, from yesterday's game, we can't! Come on Vince, throw, throw, throw... because obviously, as RT has proved, that's what works!

    Umm, you do realise that what RollTide is trying to say is that we need to both, right? In the last couple of games we've seen what happens when opposing defences don't fear Young's passing or running: they stack the run and severely limit our RB's production. Unless you can pass the ball effectively and force them to respect it, you won't get good production on the ground.

    play-calling wasnt the problem, it was play-making and bad decisions...

    I don't think anyone would try to argue that we don't need both. Rolltide's argument was that we couldn't run yesterday. My sarcastic response was just intended to say that we clearly couldn't pass either. Neither worked yesterday, but we have to keep doing something. We need both, but we've generally been a run-first team. I thought we asked Young to pass too much yesterday, and he clearly wasn't successful.
