Time to make lemonade out of lemons!!!

Well unfortunately Campbell is not going to be let loose but Desmond Bryant from the Raiders could be had at 6-5 290 and 5 sacks. I believe we could get both Henderson and AH for cheap. I mean Henderson is great against the run and I can't help but think that he would like to finish his career in Tennessee in front of his hometown. Would probably give him extra motivation to play well. Probably the same with AH. Load his vet min contract with several incentives and he would probably play harder in TN. I mean even if he isn't a beast he can still stop up the run with Henderson there and penetrate if Henderson gets doubled. One thing for sure we need some height and weight on the line in the center of it. Most QBs are 6-3 and taller. Our tallest DT is 6-2. Our line doesn't get any pass deflections and our leader had 2, which was 6-5 DE Ball if I remember. Henderson had 4 by himself and didn't even play in all of the games and started only 3. We need to not only make it difficult to run but also pass because our line is so short all of the QBs can look downfield and no one knows how to put a hand in the air except for Jason Jones but now he is gone. We can draft a few DTs and DEs but it wouldn't hurt to get some veterans in. I mean it isn't like we can't cut a few DTs like Marks and Shaun Smith. Can't help but believe Henderson and AH would be an upgrade over those 2 at least and draft some others just in case they are not. Wouldn't hurt to at least kick the tires on them. I mean we were 24th against the run last year and 31st in sacks.

On the offensive side of the ball I woundn't mind signing Plaxico Burress to help the receiving corp. It would give them a big target, especially in the red zone. Think it would really help.
