    Get rid of:
    Hope
    Nickey
    Gage
    Scaife
    Haye
    Fisher

I don't want to blame Cecil yet. It seemed like the defensive scheming changed from the first few games where the defense played great, to the latter part of the season. We came out blitzing and switching up our schemes and led the league in turnovers. Then we started playing conservative (no blitzing soft coverage) and our defense looked like a bottom 10 defense all of a sudden. For some reason I just don't think Cecil was the one that switched things up. The soft coverage/no blitz scheme is 100% Fisher. I don't know whether Cecil had anything to do with that.

Vince Young played lights out this year. Enough said. Call him what you want but the guy wins games...without star recievers...without an O-Line...without a 2000 yd rushers...and without a lot of help from the offensive playcalling.

Vince Young might be our most valuable player...even more than CJ. Check our record with him and without him. Why do people hate VY???!!!! The media and this coach has thrown the guy under the bus.

Suicidal?? GTFOH!! His mom couldn't find him. He's a grown as.s man and the story should've never made it to the media.

    Players that make us go:

VY, CJ, Britt, Stewart, D Williams, Tulloch, Witherspoon, McGrath, Verner, J Jones.

^Id also add Roos, Griffin, and ofc Bironas to the list!!

@everyone who said no big name coach would want to come here because the owner will be putting his hands into things.

    First off, what owner doesn't?????????

Secondly, Bud Adams hasn't said a damn word unless we drop 5 or 6 games in a row, until after its confirmed that our team has just imploded after just 1 or 2 variables are changed IE: VY, and KB out. Having the same coach for 16+ years and see that he's clearly not winning along with some shady business going on.

Like really guys? I bet those coaches would jump all over this job.

VY might not handle things all that well sometimes but you can tell he's being screwed over somewhere along the line. (Now we get to watch someone with a USC avatar try and hate on em)

Kerry Collins & Chris Simms should be allowed to walk away as they're scheduled to. No sense in continuing this Vince Young vs. Kerry Collins crap, the only thing we've seen is inconsistency from both. Difference is Vince is still under contract.

Bo Scaife is also scheduled to be a free agent, and based of his inconsistent play shouldn't be brought back. The guy can play, but his time is up in Tennessee.

Offensive Tackle Mike Otto also has an expiring contract, and is just one of those life-time backups. He's done nothing to warrant much criticism, but is he worth keeping if he'll never amount to much?

As far as I know Leroy Harris is also up for another deal, or NOT. And to me he'll be nothing more than a cheap sign. We have plenty of those on the Titans. If he can play Guard, and our problem is Amano @ Center, and not Harris, then sign they guy up for 2-3 more years. We know he's solid at times, and that Amano is a bum.

Jacob Ford & Dave Ball are both at the end of their contracts. IMO only one will come back. Ball has never gotten much recognition, and has surprised a lot of people this year, but he's not that good to begin with. Ford has more upside, and will be had for less.

Stephen Tulloch is really the only soon to be free agent on the Titans that will get much interest around the league. IDK if he's even worth an offer from us. He's got the heart of a lion, but the body of a sheep. I like his work ethic, but at the end of the day he simply sucks vs the pass.

Brett Kern is the only one besides Ahmard Hall who should be an automatic re-sign.

Those are the Titans who's contracts are up this Winter. Any other personnel moves made won't be based of contracts. A few names maybe worth cutting would be Justin Gage, Lavelle Hawkins, Vince Young, Eugene Amano, Willam Hayes, Jovan Haye, Will Witherspoon, Ryan Mouton, Chris Hope, and Donnie Nickey.

FYI Leroy Harris, Mike Otto, Jacob ford can be tendered as restricted free agents and will almost certainly will be.

I think it is nuts to get rid of Wiliam Hayes since he costs very little and despite not being a dominant pass rusher is a pretty solid rotation guy. Still pretty young also.

That's just moronic. Get rid of our best safety, our best o-lineman and a pro bowl kicker? What are you a Colt fan?

Good because I'd like them to come back.

He's always hurt, and only has one move, the bull rush. He's fast enough to beat a lot of tackles off the line, but he always holds off to get his one and only move in. He drives guys back as well as anyone, but some how only has 6 sacks in three years.

If your implying that Finnegan is in the bottom half of NFL starting corners your delusional. No Finnegan is not a shut down corner; there are sixty-two other corner backs in the NFL that are not shut down corners. Has Cortland's play dropped off some what this year? Yes it has, but to act like he is NOT better the Verner, Mouton, and McCourty is idiotic! Your acting like he is Nick Harper or something

Now hold on there partner, I in no way said he was in the lower half of the CB's in the leauge. I believe he is in the upper half of the NFL CB's and we both agree that he is not a shut down corner. We have an understanding.

I'm pretty sure Msut was referring to the "players that make us go" part of CJtheBeast's post and not the "get rid of" part.

Are we also going to play 10 vs. 11 every snap?

I can understand cutting Mouton. I think if you suck at everything that much it's contagious. Ringer is at least good depth, Mouton is honestly useless at every position on the football field. Bring in veteran depth next season and bounce him out of here.
