Do you have any idea of how many variables go into any given game? Taking a stat line from earlier in the season against the same team and applying it the next matchup is a very lazy way to approach this topic. Why do teams play divisional opponents twice if they know what will happen the next game?

Your double standard is ridiculous. If mariota played in this game with cassels statline you would be on here saying how much of a bad game it was by mariota and the defense bailed him out by scoring. but here you are defending cassel saying how great he is for a mediocre stat line.

 

You're the one who is claiming Mularkey got a ton of free agents. I don't think it's different from what Munchak got.

And if you think Warmack wasn't handpicked by Munchak, you're either suffering from dementia or in denial.

Regardless is whether Munchak got free agents isn't the point. Did the team that he had - that went 7-9 - get improved upon for two years with free agents and draft picks? If you add in a much better QB starting 15 games versus Locker starting 7 and Murray/Henry over Cj...should we expect more than a two win improvement over that team with a HC we fired?

I didn't realize that a first time HC in Munchak had personnel power or complete control of the draft. Sorry, that was our GM and the picks are HIS responsibility. But this really has nothing to do with the conversation except to try and bash Munchak more...which is ironic since he did a better job with a much inferior roster and still got fired.

Take away is...9-7 should have been a gimme and frankly, the playoffs should have too considering the Texans don't even have a qb nor JJ Watt and the Jags are much worse than the year before.....and the Colts had a down year as well (but swept us again)!

 

Great stat....on 3rd down, but throwing 1 TD pass for our team and one for their team (pick 6) is not winning football!

 

not only that, dude got sacked like 6 times with 2 interceptions in 5 quarters, 1 was a pick 6 by a rookie. lol.
