Sound like Davis is beef steak scattered, smothered, covered with weak sauce. I can't believe this dude pimps a guy who can't even dress. Yeah, he's gonna do it on the NFL level. :suspect:

That was the first decent post I have seen from you Overalls. I will even use you real name before I lay waist to your post.

You spent allot of time pulling stats there I really wish the stats would come across smoother then just lumped like that but oh well.

You do realize you compared the stats of CB to a FS right?

If a FS ever put up the numbers a CB did it would be amazing. There functions are different but stats do not work in this situation. That is like me comparing the running numbers of a QB to a the running numbers of a RB. An apples to oranges comparison. Both contribute in there own way. By your own definition the guy on the Chiefs is a backup. Hope is a started. He adds to our team a starter where as you have added a back up.

Same goes for your DE to LB comparison. The player needs to be evaluated at the same level. So Weaver has allot less pass deflections does that mean that now Thornton is atop him. No because again they are at different positions asked to do different things. The same could be said for tackles. Both D players but Thornton had over 100 tackles not to long ago where Weavers best season he had only 39. Waevers best season accounted for 9 sacks. That is by no means great. Infact that number (his best season) was not good enough to propel Carter or Kearse to the probowl both players who have made the probowl in the past. Weaver has not. At best you could say these pickups were equal. That is a stretch though.

Davis vs White. Our guy plays your guy will probably sit most of the season. That seems like a pretty obvious win in our book but we will see. He has not played a regular season down. But each one he does makes him that much more valuable to the Titans then Davis will be this season to the Texans.

I am just not feeling an 8 man rotation of O-lineman, two of which are rookies and two of which were backups on another team. If the magic 8 ball can tell you which play they will excel at then so be it but that just smells of misreads and an incoherent operation between the QB and the O-line which will eventually lead to sacks

Since you seem to have a prblem with our rookies and other O-line men. And since the only thing either of us can use as far a stats to judge them on the NFL level is TWO preseason games I would like to point out that the Texans have given up ONE sack this far this preseason. I know it is only preason, but you seem to be using the same criteria or less to judge them negatively. I would also like to then point out that our Defensive unit has already gotten 8 sacks. that is a plus seven differentual. I would also like to point out that while it is only preseason that the Titans have given up 6 sacks and only managed to get ONE. That would be a negative 5 differentual

If you would like to right off D. Davis. Fine sure whatever. He hasn't played.

Lets compair rookie RB to rookie RB.

    L. White (your boy)

7 carries for 28 yards and 0 TDs, no catches

Wali Lundy (one of our rookie RBs)

16 carries 99 yards and 1 TD with 3 catches for 35 yards

Chris Taylor (another of our rookie RBs)

14 carries 55 yards and no TDs or catches

Or how about our 3rd rookie RB
    Damien Rhodes
6 rushes for 23 yards and 1 TD

Now of course this is just preseason, but I wouldn't be bragging if i was you.

If you want to you can just say we have a better system.

You know it is not fair to compare a guy who sat for a week. I am going to throw you a bone on this one though because that was a good analogy on the RB situation. Compare the single game performance to White then you have something to talk about.

Rookie O-line on most teams will do bad. That is just the way of the position. Just like QBs. They have larger learning curves. It is not to say in the future they will not be good or even PBs but 1st season is usually a struggle.

As you said for the rest of it. Preseason is preseason. Our teams have different agendas. Our rookie QB is going to struggle. If he did not well I pity the AFC South.

I am mainly scared because we are talking to Collins. One of the signs of the second coming as prophesized in revelations I believe, I would have to check though.

NFL network showed all of a 30 second highlight so I can not really comment on the game. It did not look like it turned out well.

Wait till we lose a regular season game then point me to the sky about it falling. We open at the Jets lets get things going then.

Ok. Then how about lets compair how the 2 RBs did in game 3 of the preseason.

Wali Lundy against the Broncos a team with Super Bowl hopes
10 carries for 44 yards with 3 catches for 17 yards.

Your rookie LenDale White against the mighty Falcons.
8 carries for 15 yards with 1 catch for 5 yards.

Maybe White still wasn't in games shape so lets see how he did against the vaulted Green Bay Packers.
White had 9 carries for 21 yards with 0 catches.

    Let's combine Whites 2 games

    17 carries for 36 yards and 1 catch for 5 yards.

Lundy didn't play in week 4 of preseason because we rested our starters.

How about sacks. The Titans have allowed 11 sacks and gotten 7. Thats a -4 for the Titans.

How about them sad Texans. They allowed 4 sacks and got to the other teams QB 10 times. That seems to be a +6 for the Texans.

Yep looks like the Texans should be getting scared.

    But it's only preseason.

    Bib Overalls,

The Anti-Moron software on my PC goes crazy everytime I read your posts. How can you post stats from the preseason? Seriously, I'm starting to agree with the member on this board who said they are concerned about your mental state. Geez, give it a rest.
