That's an unproven trio of players

 

Sure they 'could' be good. All 1st round players have the potential to be great, but rarely ever do they turn out that way. Most fail to live up to their potential, even if they aren't complete busts.

The hype surrounding the jags D is predicated on all 3 of these guys living up to their full potential/hype ... and maybe the jags win the lottery and all 3 players do that... but statistically speaking that won't happen.

Not saying they will all be busts, but it's not likely they will all become all pros either.

Thing about rookies is there is always optimism around them because there is nothing else to go off of.

I'm not denying the fact that the jags are in a envious position with all that potential on D, but let's not crown them yet when that's all it is at this point, potential

 

Jack is a question mark but he has been practicing with the one's. Fowler from what I've read has been a beast so far, granted it's TC for both but if Fowler gains confidence he could be a factor early.

 

I like Fowler better than Jack, both now and long term....He was better coming out of College....Jack is a liability...and he should be practicing on #1's considering what he was supposed to be.

 

Fowler is going to take JJs spot has the top pass rusher this season or next I think.
