Three of the Next 14 Picks

I think I have finally settled on my four for today: Noah Spence, Kendall Fuller, Nick Martin, and Pharoh Cooper.

 

Cooper could be had in the 4th round.

 

I don't disagree with that, but we don't have a 4th. I'd rather reach and get him. I like his skill set a lot.

 

If that's who they go with in the 3rd, better to trade back a bit and pick up a later pick.

 

Yeah. Who knows? Maybe we pick up a fourth in a trade with #33 today and we wouldn't have to reach.

I do like his skill set though. I think he can play inside and outside and be a solid returner, which is a position we still haven't addressed.

 

That's solid. I'm surprised you don't want one of the stud DL available. We need Al Woods replacement.

 

Honestly, I am a believer in the "Bama Bust" thing I spout every draft season. Bama does such a good job recruiting on defense that offensive lines get overwhelmed because they can't double anyone consistently. There is so much talent in that front-seven that it's really hard to evaluate fairly. Like the USC offense in the mid 2000s.

That pretty much leaves Billings. I can't really argue against him. We need a true NG and I think he could fit there. I would just prefer Spence than him at 33 and I don't think he would be there at 43 or 45.

Oh, and we should definitely pick Jihad Ward in the third round so I can win the 3rd round pick contest.

Yeah I was more hinting at Billings. I personally would rather have Billings and then the best OLB on the board wether it be Spence/Ogbah/Correa
