Jake Locker put up "Huge" numbers in 2 games did he "kill it" for us?

 

His entire statline is solid... so you can dump that 2 game crutch.

Unless you do that with every player.

 

Its not a crutch. Everybody has big games. He happen to luck out have to big games against terrible teams, in which no defense was played. Other than that his stateline is pretty pedestrian.

Take away Billy Voleks two big games (which he lost) in 2004
He then has a 2-5 record on the year 1568 yards 56.82% completion 10td 9 int
In those games he averaged 18pts a game. Took 22 sacks, fumbled 5 times, lost 1.

 

Funny how McNair never had those big games...

Was all of a sudden when Volek came in- THEN it was about the bad defenses. Magic.

 

How did he win an MVP then?

 

All that matters at the end of the day is W-L. Which he did not win very many of. You are solely judging him off his statline. Billy Volek is and never was nothing more than a back-up QB.

McNair was 91-62 in his career which is respectable.

 

Why I wanted to see Mett go in half time of Washington game. Whitehurst was not doing it.
