This guy will throw 90% of his passes in Nick Harper's direction. Can we stop him?

If Nick Harper can't defend a rookie from a Division 3 school, or a scrub/rookie WR from Ohio State... How is he going to stop Vincent Jackson or any one else in the SD passing attack?

He wont. We can only hope Chris Hope stays over there and picks up in zone coverage.

Hood better not be inactive again (Im sure he will). But also, I think we need to keep Ford on the field as much as possible...he was our best pass rusher against the Fins and he had their snap timed perfectly.

If we're gonna rush 4 and drop 7, we gotta find a way to keep #78 out there.

Have Tony Brown hit him low, kick his helmet off and beat him with it? Then we could talk about stopping Billy Volek. ahh... Billy "pants on fire" Volek...

I'd love to see him play in this game.

I've just about lost hope in Hope too. Makes no sense to me we play a 4.6 running safety on the same side as our 4.7 running corner, then play our 4.4 running safety behind our 4.3 corner. Anybody understand this???

^haha that's true. Granted, we know Fisher hasn't actually thought about it.

And Jacob Ford has been our best pass rusher for quite a while- which is why Jeff Fisher finds ways for him not to even dress.

I don't see any way the Titans win this without putting up at least 30 points. Harper is playing 10 yards off the line and still letting people get behind him. Even when he's actually in position he can't locate the ball to knock it down. They are going to eat him up.

Harper has no business being in our starting lineup. He should only be on the field before and after the game, not during.

Hood should have been playing all this time. Now if we have to put him in, he'll be rusty since he hasn't even had any playing time. Typical Fishbag being Fishbag.

San Diego isn't gonna take it easy on us. And Rivers is sharp enough to attack our weak spots. Nick Harper is definitely our weakest spot. Where's Tonya Harding when you need her?

Harper is a great CB to have on your roster. But he's nothing more than veteran depth at this point. The thing that stinks is he's playing opposite a monster CB - so there's really no question what side the ball is going to.

He doesn't make the mental mistakes of a rookie. But he can't cut on a ball like a rookie, either.
