    Torn......

ZZ Top my favorite band for most of my life (their first 8 albums that is)....The Who I believe a more important band in the big picture and maybe my second favorite band for most of my life. Can't vote yet.

ZZ over Who but barely as both are great and have loads of great 70's albums.

    Baba O'Riley though?

Happy Jack, The Seeker, My Generation, Substitute, Pinball Wizard, etc...etc...etc...

Tough call. Like choosing between my children.

Growing up in the 70's and 80's it was always like the Beatles, Stones, or Zeppelin as the GOATS according to the "experts". So I gravitated to "The Who" because of my contrarian nature, they were equally important.

NEVER vote against The Who. And spilling over from the Petty thread, ZZ Top is all uncredited cover material.
