Even when a show throws me off with a great twist, I always keep my cool, but the last couple of minutes in that LOST Season 3 finale was like the one time where my jaw actually dropped. Matthew Fox has always been a good actor, but he took his game to the next level in Season 3 and was a huge Emmy snub in my opinion. The second half of that season and Season 4 were some of the best stuff I've seen on television, even better than the first I think. Not including finales, I think "The Constant" in Season 4 is one of the single best episodes ever in all of television.

The problem with the show drifting later on, wasn't because the writers didn't know what they were doing, but because they had an ending planned out from the beginning and fans guessed it halfway through the show. So they said "uh-oh", and had to change it but yet didn't want to stray too far from their original premise.

    Just my two cents.

I'll probably be called a blasphemer, but I have ALWAYS preferred Brian Cox's Hannibal compared to Hopkins - it's how I always envisioned the character. More low-key, more cerebral, less "In-Your-Face" creepiness.

I should also note that Manhunter is miles and miles better than any of the Hannibal films. Silence of the Lambs is a quality film, but Mann's original is a textbook example of how to do a really involved thriller.

The Shawshank Redemption. Not a knock on The Shining, but it never stood a chance as The Shawshank Redemption > everything minus sex.

Which unorthodox "in disguise" cameo do you prefer?

    Edward Norton as King Baldwin

    or

    Keith Richards as Captain Teague
