You sit down while the offense is on the field. Fact.

    And it's preseason, dude.

Again, at no point should you be sitting down at the game.

Nah. You're wrong. No offense, but you're wrong.

3rd down is the only time where everyone stands up. That doesn't mean you can't make noise and have fun. Of course, there are other times where we all stand up, but to say there is NEVER a time for sitting down is silly at the least.

LP Field "seats" 69,000. Key word: 'seats.' Everyone sits at some point. No denying it.

What are these "seats" you speak of? Those things I put my coat on and trash under?

I agree with TennesseeXO in theory, but in reality Goddells Gestapo will escort you out of the stadium if you offend an anomonyous visiting patron. I have seen people, who I have seen do nothing wrong, walked away from their seats never too return for that game. The games are definatly NOT as much fun as they were even a couple of seasons ago.

I truly believe the NFL does not want people like me at the stadium. I think they would much prefer a superbowl type mixed corporate crowd that pays top dollar to smooze each other. Then when the league folds they will wonder where the 'fans' went.

It's sad. There was a time when no one did sit during the game at LP.

Back when we had one of the loudest stadiums and actually had a home-field advantage.

    Long gone now.

Now you're lucky if everyone does stand on 3rd down. Our fans went from best in the league to old-farts-at-a-derby within a couple seasons.

well you need something too cheer for. Watching CJ lose 5 yards on 2nd and 2, followed by a flase start by Amano then having 'the Diva' stare down BS on 3rd and 12 only too watch the MLB not move an inch and make a pick is no way to get the crowd excited

The NFL is burying itself. At this point I'd rather stay home and watch on my gigantic HD flat screen with NFL Sunday Ticket and a room full of friends. The only danger is if my girl starts complaining before Sunday Night Football comes on. Get as drunk and rowdy as you want. My couch sleeps good.

The food is better and the drinks are cheaper.

A nice sports bar is killing LP these days also. Especially in Nashville.

    It is a shame.

Strangely I want to go to Vols games more and I'm a waaaaayyyyy more passionate about the Titans than I am the Vols. I've been straight up disorderly at Neyland and I've never been asked to settle down or leave. I get high fives and hugs.

lol how long has it been since you've been to a game in Knoxville? I hear about that happening all the time there.

Honestly i don't have much problem with what you are saying. But you come across as a real jerk about it.

I mean if a sickly elderly woman is at the Titans game and sits most of the game and just lightly claps and is otherwise quiet, I get the impression you would cuss her because she won't stand up. That's pretty juvenile. (now it's different situation if she is telling you to be quiet or sit down)

Maybe I'm reading you wrong that's just how it's coming across to me.

Bottom line, the student section at Neyland is not representative of the general population. People should be aloud to bring their families to a game without you acting like a jerk towards them if they aren't constantly drinking as much as possible and acting rowdy.

And this is coming from someone that does drink heavily during games and does get loud. And I've even cussed another Titans fan that told me to sit down before.

That is nowhere near true. Got anything to back that up?
