Its Carol. Nick is correct the phone system is probably out, but this could be an interal prison phone system and could still be working.

If its Carol and she saved Lori it might as well be Fonzi jumping the shark

definitely agree on this. i feel like the zombie that ate Lori was very poorly thought out. How is it logical for her entire flesh, muscle, organs and bones were able to fit into a slightly larger than a basketball size stomach. Did the zombie have an industrial strength blender laying around to whip up a Lori Smoothie or what? While watching the show I wasn't convinced thats what actually happened because it seemed so ridiculous but Greg Nicotero on the Talking Dead confirmed that was what actually happened.

I'd put my life that its not them...How would they get the number to a random phone in a prison???

Thats why I think Lori either turned into a walker and walked away or she was rescued by carol or someone.

No way that zombie ate her. And I'm pretty sure Rick just cut into it to make it look like it was her.

He picked up the bullet with no blood on it from the cement to the left of where the body laid. At least that's how I saw it.

Thought that was the bullet casing, not the actual bullet... no biggie.

Nicotero, more or less, confirmed that zombie dragged her body around the corner and ate her. Probably should've been a pile of bones in the background.

He said there was even strands of black hair hanging from his mouth.

Maybe i'm completely off.. but when I was watching the last episode I was under the impression the zombie rick encountered in the steam room was actually Lori.. and that's why there was just a blood trail. It looked like there was a gunshot in the stomach/chest before Rick started slashing it. If Carl shot Lori in the stomach it would have left her able to turn.. but then I wonder why Carl would do that when he knows to shoot in the head.

That's just what I thought when I saw it.

I think it was a mistake that there is so much confusion. I believe the intent was that walker ate Lori literally til it was about to burst. They should have made it perfectly clear though.
