    true but what requirements are there for you to go through waivers? doesnt it have something to do with years played or your previous contract? Also isn't their levels of waiver claims? You rank the players and if you have the highest claim you get the player? maybe every team will go after a couple of the huge names and the titans can sneek their 1st waiver line as justin miller. Im not sure how it all works.

    Waiver processing works similarly to the draft. The team with the highest waiver position will have it's highest priority claim processed. Then the team with the second-highest waiver position will have its highest priority claim processed, and so on, until the team with the lowest waiver position is reached. The process repeats, until there are no more claims left. After clearing waivers (the amount of time a player spends on waivers is customizable by league), a player becomes an unrestricted free agent.

    Basically a player gets awarded to the team with best waiver positioning.

    so say the lions put in a claim for rhodes and the seahawks also put in a claim for rhodes, however 2nd on the hawks waiver claim is tyrell sutton. But chicago's first waiver claim is for sutton. So which team would get who?

    whoever had the worst record would get the claim....so Lions and Seahawks.

    Yes correct, the awarded waiver then is taken by the team with best position(based on record)... They take over the players contract or can third party an agent or the players agent and negotiate a new contract... So were screwed.:suspect:

    So the tiers of the waiver line are pretty pointless then right? if we put in 29 claims and the ravens 30th claim is the last guy on their list even though he's the 1st on our list they would get him?

    Yeh, but their are alot of players out there... Just the most well known players go to the teams that need them the most.
