Check this guy's VY collection out. If you're at all a collector it's definitely jaw dropping.

    Beckett Online

The Beckett site can be wonky... you might need to hit refresh for the page to load.

With the guy spending that much on cards you'd think he could drop a hundred bucks on a decent scanner.

C79, I was tempted to ask him what the serial number is on his Sterling VY/Earl. I wonder if it's the one that didn't show up in your mailbox.:suspect:

Why, is Jay Cutler a postal worker? (sorry that's about as good as I've got today... I'm feeling about as clever as a bag of rocks).

    I asked and the dude's VY/Earl is #'d 16/20.

Oh, he posted improved pics so I updated the link in the OP

I think the one I bought was #14/20.

While that collection is stunning I'm sure he doesn't look at his best cards like we do & have that special feeling. What I mean is having all those sweet cards would kind of take the fun out of being a collector.

hey, these jersey cards. Is it just a picture of the jersey close up, or is there mesh in the card?? I've wondered for awhile, but only seen pictures so it's hard to tell.

It's a small swatch of jersey. Most of the time "game used", but often with rookies they just use pieces of jerseys that the players wore at the rookie photo shoot.

    Wow simply wow.

This is likely to be the best & most expensive card that I will ever own. It's absolutely stunning.Pictures do not do it justice.

In the graded case if I tilt the card,as the light catches it some aspects of the card look like they're in 3D.It's awesome.
