Personally I was ver ho-hum with Morgan. He was the "blah" safe pick, but since it was a position of need I can get behind it. The thing is, Morgan has no motor issues, Fariley does and Bowers is a 20ish year old with arthritic knees. Comparing those three I'll gladly take Morgan.

We each have our opinions. But, looks like the front office agrees with at least one of those.

"The Titans, according to Reinfeldt and vice president of player personnel Ruston Webster, have about 24 players with first-round grades in this draft with six to eight being considered elite. How many quarterbacks are in that group remains up for debate."

Guaranteeing we get someone we consider "elite." I don't see any way Dalton could be one of those "elite" guys and I would hope we don't pass on what could be the last elite prospect to fill a need.

well if we consider 8 elite, and we have the 8th pick....clearly we get an elite player...

    Here are my 3 keys:

    1) Don't be named Floyd Reese

    2) Don't be named Al Davis

    and

    3) Don't be affiliated in any way with the New York Jets

If there is going to be prayer involved I'd suggest we don't pray for who we want and who we don't want. Might be better to pray for who will be the best in 3 years since God only knows.

Now if the Titans have 24 players rated with 1st round grades and as many as eight with "elite" ratings I'd suspect there is a good chance there are no QBs are in the elite category but there very well could be a few QBs in the 1st round grade. Which means we take BPA and then try to trade back into the 1st round. Just a guess but I have a feeling that could be the case.
