Why are so many people here so afraid of affecting the status quo? They act like taking a risk is the same as accepting defeat. But I disagree ... I think they have it backwards, accepting the status quo is the same as accepting defeat.

This is exactly what some are advocating. Make no changes and just hope that the results will get better.

Well I don't believe things will ever get better with this attitude. And it is an attitude that has been far to prevalent for far to long around here.

Don't get me wrong. Everyone here wants 'change', but so many are just so risk adverse that they would rather just accept the status quo and hope for a miracle.

The only way to get change is to force change. And change is inherently associated with risk. I for one would rather take a risk for even the smallest of chances for a return to glory than to be forever stuck in this perpetual rut.

It is not about giving up or laying down. It is not about accepting defeat. In fact it is the opposite. It is about doing everything in our power to bring ourselves back from the brink. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Greatness is often born out of desperation, and make no mistake, this is a desperate team.

And while I can't promise greatness from taking a risk, I can promise that there will never be greatness without risk.

So I ask ... WHO IS WITH ME?!?!?

you do know it's unlikely that anyone else here has heard of them... and now by virtue of it, we will have to go listen, making them more popular??

I'll let you know what I think, and maybe post some vids ;)

Yeah.. they're not very good. listened to their big hits.. There was a lot better music coming out of England at the time.

They're like a much less interesting ELO or something.
